Manipulation protection

This function prevents the lock from being cracked by trying out any number of codes. It represents a great security advantage of electronic locks compared to mechanical locks. If a number of consecutive invalid opening codes are entered, the input unit is disabled for a certain time (often referred to as “penalty”). If further incorrect entries are made after the first waiting period has expired, another waiting period starts again. This cycle can only be broken by entering a valid code.
